friyayLooking forward to this weekend. We have some fun things planned as well as some projects and I’m hoping to get them all in. We also want to take care a few things for impending events. We can talk about those later.  I can tell you that we are still on duckling watch. Had a short scare that she’d given up this morning, but she just got off the nest to stretch her legs and get some fresh air. Sue was telling me that is smelled really bad in there this morning. So the mama maybe needed to clean out her nose for a bit. Either way, she got back on the nest and doesn’t seem to be giving up just yet. We’ll let her decide.

FullSizeRender - 2019-04-26T174541.450Sue has been weed whacking her arms off lately, but things sure are looking good. Tumbleweeds are coming up like crazy and we pull them whenever we can. Soon we’ll be pulling enough to feed to the Goat Boys. They seemed to like them last year. We’ve caught them eating grass a lot lately – they’ve been eating so much that they aren’t touching their alfalfa… of course, there’s always room for sweet feed at the end of the day. Luckily, it’s not only the weeds that are doing well. The roses are ready to start blooming any second. Our herbs are doing quite well. Sue took this photo of the Chamomile, looks like we should be harvesting these soon. Add that to the list.

Tomorrow, barring an insurmountable wind, we will be moving the RCW first thing in the morning after all the other chores are done. It’s really time. We’ll let you know how all of that goes on Monday. Until then, as always!
Thanks for reading.
