Since tomorrow is EASTER I thought we’d just take a moment to wish you many Blessings and hope you are able to spend some time with family and friends – even if it is remotely. We are enjoying a visit from my folks for a long weekend and it has been nice just relaxing with them.

Since it is Easter, and there are always eggs of some sort around the holiday, I thought I’d just share a couple egg photos. I took this photo a few weeks ago when we ended up getting a humungous chicken egg. It was way bigger than our duck eggs and just a bit smaller than our goose eggs. I just had to take a photo of it because I was so astonished at the size. (Sue ate it for breakfast one morning and it was a double yolker!) So here is the evidence, with a regular Teas Spoon for scale. Left to right we have:
Goose, Huge Chicken, Duck, Easter Egger, Banty. Amazing.

I was hoping to have many colored eggs to share – but so far, the only photo I’ve received is from Ali. She and her family have been continual customers since the beginning of the pandemic. The last couple of weeks I’ve been trying to make sure they’d have enough eggs to color. Her daughter likes the little ones. Yesterday, Ali texted me this photo of all their artistic handy work! I also know that Sheila, another long time customer, colored banty eggs with her grandkids yesterday – but she forgot to take any photos!

We are not coloring eggs this year. We will, however, make deviled eggs – Cajun Stlye – tomorrow for our Hors d’Oeuvres hour. I’ll try to remember to post a photo on our Face Book page. Here’s my invitation for you. Please, if you have been coloring eggs, if you are making an egg dish for Easter — yes, even if they are not with OUR eggs — please upload a photo into the comments of this article on Facebook, or tag our page on the photos of your creations. If none of this makes any sense to you – you can always email them directly to me at wingandaprayermail@gmail.com. Again, we hope you and yours are showered with blessings this Easter. We look forward to sharing more adventures with you soon. Until then, as always~
